Education: MBBS (hons) BMedSc (hons) MPH MCCU FRACP
Rohit graduated from Monash University with first class honours in 2012. He completed his basic physician training at The Alfred; and subsequently completed advanced cardiology training in Geelong, St Vincent’s and The Alfred. During his training, Rohit has also completed a Masters of Public Health and a Masters of Clinical Ultrasound.
He undertook a two-year fellowship in interventional and structural cardiology at Vancouver General Hospital; and has expertise in coronary angiography, stenting, intravascular imaging and advanced transcatheter structural interventions. During his fellowship, Rohit completed further training in cardiac CT and obtained licensure for cardiac CT reporting.
Rohit continues to be involved in clinical research and has a number of publications in peer-reviewed journals as well as authoring several book chapters. He has public appointments at Latrobe Regional, The Alfred and Frankston hospitals.
